In 2010, I spent six months in Ethiopia, conducting my thesis research for grad school. I was one of the first long term fellows for the SCOPE Fellowship www.scopehealth.org, a unique model for strengthening collaboration and understanding between faith-based and medical communities to address the global HIV/AIDS pandemic.
